On Saturday, 23rd of September, The Quokkas will be performing some live and local entertainment at Panthers Bathurst!

The Quokkas cover band & acoustic trio / duo formed in 2015. Hailing from the Blue Mountains near Sydney, playing a selection of songs from the last 60 years and more.
The Quokkas are entertainers. We love to interact with our audience and with our repertoire of over 100 songs, we can quickly adapt to suit their tastes.

So, if you want to chat with friends, and then dance up a frenzy, we are certainly your band. People tell us they enjoy the variety of our set list. We love springing a few surprises and keep our sets interesting. We can be booked as a loud cover band or quiet acoustic act because of the instruments we play and how we use them. We can play as a trio or duo. Our favourite is two acoustic
guitars and snare drum with brushes and harmonies. All instruments go through the PA so we can easily turn down if needed. We can, of course, just as easily turn up for a loud excited dancing frenzy. With this setup we play clubs, pubs, weddings and parties.

All members of the band have been playing for many years, in original bands as well as cover bands. Ian and Dave played in the Sydney band “Flaming Barstools” through the 1990’s. Steve and Dave play in the original band “Reluctant Friends of Steve”.
